Bitcoin and Ethereum’s market cap decreased by 1.94% and 3.40% to $311.95 billion and $143.60 billion, respectively.
All the top 10 cryptocurrencies saw losses over the reporting period. Dogecoin and XRP posted the biggest losses in the last 24 hours, down 9.87% and 7.03%, respectively.
Over the reporting period, USD Coin’s (USDC) market cap increased to $44.32 billion, while BinanceUSD’s (BUSD) decreased to $22.39 billion. Meanwhile, Tether’s (USDT) market cap remained flat at $65.34 billion.
Bitcoin
Over the reporting period, Bitcoin fell 2.01% to trade at $16,214 as of 07:00 ET. As a result, its market dominance fell to 38% from 38.2% over the reporting period.
Since the last report, Bitcoin has traded at a high of $16,680 and bottomed at around $16,040.
Ethereum
ETH decreased by 3.63% over the last 24 hours to trade at $1,170 as of 07:00 ET. As a result, its market dominance remained flat at 17.5% over the reporting period.
Ethereum’s price action mostly mirrored Bitcoin. Since the last report, ETH has traded at a high of $1,235 and bottomed at $1,160.
