BlockDown Festival: Croatia is calling artists and creators to take part in this three-day celebration of Web3, NFTs, and the metaverse. Alongside informative panels, discussions, debates, live music, and parties, the festival will be creating an immersive experience that showcases some of the best creative minds.
Just like the actual metaverse the festival aims to give attendees a taste of the future with the help of a curated line-up of digital artists, fashionistas, sculptors, and designers.
Chosen creators will have the opportunity to showcase their work in front of a 3000+ strong community of Web3, NFT, and metaverse enthusiasts as part of the world’s first NFT-enabled Web3 festival.
The festival is currently looking to collaborate with:
- Digital artists/NFT creators
- Performance artists
- Sculptors
- Augmented/virtual reality designers
- Mixed media artists
“NFTs are an amazing way to build communities and unite multiple industries of talent with a common interest. Many artists have been exploring NFTs as a new spotlight to share their work,” says V Ray, the creative mastermind designing the venue and experiences.
“At BlockDown, we are excited to share their work and create an incredibly memorable immersive experience for our attendees.”
BlockDown Festival will be the first time NFTs are at the core of an event; with NFTs functioning as tickets, experience passes, and collectibles, which will allow attendees to fully immerse themselves in the BlockDown experience.
The festival has its own exclusive resort at Amadria Park on the beachfront of Sibenik, Croatia. There will be five unique realms for attendees to explore with special, unlockable, eye-catching portals into the future that have NFTs built-in. The realms will include the “Medieval Village,” “Bullish Beach Club,” “Cyber City,” Fairy Forest” and the main area of Hotel Ivan.
BlockDown Festival: Croatia 2022 will be the event’s seventh since its founding in April 2020 at the height of the pandemic, when the event was conceived to bring the blockchain and cryptocurrency community together at a time of global isolation. Since then, the event has come to an incredible distance. The most recent event in December explored the topics of data ownership, privacy, Web3, personal information security, and self-governance, and played host to a historic discussion between Polkadot founder Gavin Wood and renowned whistleblower Edward Snowden.
