Crypto Briefing, one of the largest independent crypto publications, announced that it is appointing a new CEO, as per a release shared with CryptoSlate.
Stepping into the role is Mitchell Moos, the former editor-in-chief of Crypto Briefing. Moos’ role will now be held by Liam Kelly, while former CEO and co-founder Han Kao has stepped down to manage Sanctor Capital, a crypto-focused venture fund.
“It’s more important than ever that Crypto Briefing make progress towards its mission of helping people make informed crypto investment decisions. As CEO, I will double-down on our commitment to readers,” said Moos in a statement.
Crypto Briefing is a cryptocurrency research and news media company. Founded in 2017, the publication has grown into a resource for the industry, reporting on trends and bringing attention to its innovators. It quickly gained a following by publishing project reviews, as well as project code reviews by Andre Cronje, now the founder of Yearn.f.
Fast forward to today, and Crypto Briefing, alongside SIMETRI, helps millions of readers make better-informed investment decisions about cryptocurrencies.
One of the firm’s most popular products is SIMETRI, a proprietary suite of research tools that include investment reports, trade recommendations, and a live trading dashboard—all with a proven track record of helping people make sound crypto investments.
Meanwhile, Kao, the outgoing CEO, said that Moos would continue to lead Crypto Briefing with a very reader-centric approach. “The publication is in good hands,” he said, adding:
“I want to thank previous team members, Jon Rice, Andre Cronje, and Ilya Abugov, who helped bring Crypto Briefing where it is today.”
